Run Daddy Run

Today is the Chicago Marathon and Pete is running! He has been training hard for 4 months and we are so proud of him. We had planned on going to support him, but then decided it would be too hard with the kids. In retrospect I wish I had gone. ...maybe for his next one - if there is another. I had a poster printed up that my BIL and SIL, who live in Chicago, will flash at Pete as he runs by. I think they will see him at three different points on the course. He doesn't know about it so hopefully it will give him the "ummphh" he needs to keep going. 26.2 miles is a really long run!
